経歴

ギター製作家　荒井勝己氏に、1７歳よりギター製作の基本技術の指導を受ける。

自由学園を1980年卒業

サントス・エルナンデス（スペイン・マドリッド）の工房にて、
1年　故フェリシアーノ・バリョン氏に、楽器製作の心構え、
そしてサントス・エルナンデスの特徴的技術（塗装、刀木の削り方）の指導を受け、
その後、3本の工房の楽器製作を任された。

1982年　日本（東京）にて楽器製作開始

1990年　山梨県白州町に工房を自力で建て始める

1995年　白州町にて楽器製作開始

歴史的楽器の再現と
現代の演奏家の希望を合わせ持つ楽器に仕上げることを
心掛け、そして志している。

2007年　1月現在　製作歴25年となる

AKIHIKO YAMASHITA
in 1975, when he was seventeen years old, started learning basic technique of making guitar under MAESTRO KATSUMI ARAI.
In 1980 I graduated JIYU-GAKUEN COLLEGE.
In the workshop of Santos Herrnandes, Madrid, Spain. learned for a year under Late MAESTRO FERICIANO BAYON about the spirits of making musical instruments, of varnish and of masking bass-barring of Santos' special technique; and later was trusted to make three instruments.
In 1982 started making instruments in Tokyo, Japan.
In 1990 began to build his new workshop all by himself in Hakusyu-cho, Yamanashi: Pref., and works there from 1995.
His aim is to reconstruct historical instruments and to fulfill contemporary musicians' wishes.
In January, 2007 his career of making instruments is over 25 years.
